Do you know that you can work on your SEO and have a great website and still have zero leads? Today’s guest, Robert Stanley, found his calling in lead generation by accident. Robert initially learned how to generate leads for personal use. His marketing business was born out of referrals from his chiropractor friend whom he also helped with lead generation. He works with lawyers, realtors, gurus, and market leaders. As Robert’s business grew, he also learns that limitations are not about abilities but the mindset.

In today’s episode, Robert talks about the some of the basics of lead generation. He expounded on the important terminologies, used comparisons for better understanding, and enumerates the different programs and software – both paid and free – that you can use to generate leads. Robert also shows the differences, together with the pros and cons, in using the different ad campaigns from the Internet’s big players such as Facebook and Google.

“It’s one thing to know how to set up a Facebook account and run an ad; it’s another thing to know the ins and outs and how to set up the technology.” – Robert Stanley

This Week on the Hustle and Flow Chart Podcast:

  • Defining what a “lead” is to a client
  • Scope of work involved in generating leads
  • Challenges with Facebook’s chatbots in lead generation
  • Reasons why Robert’s favorite lead source is Facebook
  • Rationale in utilizing software tools and platforms – for consistency and to save time
  • The best and easiest apps to generate leads
  • How outsourcing is an alternative to setting up your lead generating tools compared to hiring a whole agency
  • The most complicated thing in lead generation and the significance of having a place for all the data

Different people have varying views and opinions about psychedelics or mind-altering substances. A lot of people see these things from a negative standpoint because of the many stories they hear about individuals who abuse their drug use. With the recent reports that a well-known stimulant would be legalized for the treatment of cancer, now is the time to keep an open mind about the effects that these substances have on our bodies.

In today’s episode, Joe shares with us his ”tea ceremony” experience – his ayahuasca intake in tea form under a controlled environment that was superintended by doctors and experts. Ayahuasca is a leaf known to have mind-altering effects on people who ingest it. Tim Ferris and Steve Jobs go through the same process as Joe did to unlock their unique creativity in them. More than a recreational activity, the “tea ceremony” is executed as a ritual that reflects a religious and spiritual experience to those who take part in it.

It taught me to slow down, take a moment, deprioritize, and then act.

This Week on the Hustle and Flow Chart Podcast:

  • The tea ceremony process
  • What ayahuasca is
  • Ayahuasca's effect on your brain
  • Defining the “enemy” in life
  • Effects on people who do this often
  • Impact on the life and business of individuals who undergo the ritual
  • Typical set up of a “tea ceremony,” things used, rules to follow, and the people and rituals involved in it

There is a saying that the day we stop learning is the day we stop living. Learning should to be a lifestyle, especially with the innovations that continue to overwhelm this generation. One of the ways to acquire knowledge and stay up-to-date is by attending seminars, events, and conferences.

On today’s episode, we are sharing our major takeaways from the 2017 Traffic and Conversions Summit held in San Diego. As the largest conference in the marketing industry, we have learned so much - not only from the conference, but also from the interactions we’ve had with other participants, fellow marketers, and even followers of our podcast.

Don’t be boring with your marketing. Be attention-getting. Be a little controversial.

There are many aspiring writers in the past who have a lot to say to the world, but don’t seem to have the means to do so. There was a time when only the big companies could publish a book. Those who wish to have their thoughts in a paperback are given a chance after going through a rigorous monitoring process and high writing standards. All these changed with the invention of the Internet, where many things became accessible and possible – even publishing a book.

On today’s episode, we talk about our approach as we wrote a book about mindset tactics. The formula is systematic and easy to follow. We share several tools and resources that have been helpful to us and would also be useful in your endeavor to write and publish your book.

That’s really how you get [things] done – you set a deadline.

This Week on the Hustle and Flow Chart Podcast:

  • How we created the Ever Green Wisdom book
  • The different phases that we went through as we started our book-writing efforts
  • How we maximized the resources already available, like blogs, emails, and previous podcasts
  • How to publish a book in a nutshell

Brad Spencer is a digital entrepreneur and owner of 8020 Product Creation where he teaches entrepreneurs how to create products online to create consistent cashflow. Brad joins us on the show today to share his insight, system, and process for creating digital products such as webinars and online courses that will sell online for a significant return on investment.

Brad’s 3-step process has repeatedly been proven, not only by his student’s successes but also through his business success. He is a passionate believer in the 80/20 rule that 20% of your efforts will lead to 80% of your results. In fact, he truly believes that as little as four percent of what you do will create most of your results.

“If it’s easy to run, lots more will get done.” – Brad Spencer

This week on the Hustle and Flow Chart Podcast:

  • Distraction and delusion are the two things that destroy wealth and success.
  • How to honestly self-evaluate your skills and know when to “buy or borrow” someone else’s experience.
  • Why being honest and specific about your true skill levels is critical to successfully launching a new product or service.
  • Don’t try to be a little bit of everything. Partner with people who have the other stuff that you need.

Brad’s 3 Step Process to Maximizing Success:

  1. Make a list. 1) How will you get customers? 2) How will you convert them? 3) How will you fulfill?
  2. Rate the probability of success for each idea on a scale of 1 to 10, with one signifying that you’ve never done it before and 10 signifying you’ve mastered the skill.
  3. Rate 777 across Lead Generation, Conversions, and Fulfillment. Don’t get distracted by other “shiny objects.” If you do not rate a 7 or higher in an area – buy or borrow someone else’s experience.

He calls this technique the “automated webinar,” and on today’s show, he explains what an automated webinar is, the difference between the traditional webinar and this new technique, and the advantages that business owners can experience by providing automated webinars to their target market. We also discuss how to plan and market webinars to the masses to drive traffic and increase sales, and the best practices for driving your webinar participants to the order form.

“When you map it out and build it, you can lead the yellow brick road. You can lead them where you want to go.” – Drew Burks

  • What are the benefits of hosting an automated webinar?
  • How long does it take to “perfect?”

  • Using YouTube videos to test a concept.

5 Steps for Creating Automated Webinars:

  2. Figure out everything you will need for the webinar (blog posts, email campaigns, etc.). Chunk them.
  3. Figure out how you will get people to the webinar.
  4. Figure out what you want participants to do after the webinar – what you want them to buy.
  5. Create systems and processes to complete each task.
